Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale apply to every purchase from prudentresearchlabs.com. The seller is Prudent Research LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("Prudent Research," "we," or "us"). By placing an order, you agree to these terms, our Refund Policy, and our Privacy Policy.

1. Research use only

Everything we sell is for laboratory research use only, by qualified researchers, laboratories, and research organizations. These materials are not drugs, dietary supplements, foods, or cosmetics. They are not for use in or on people or animals, for diagnosis or treatment, or for self-administration.

You confirm this when you enter the site and again at checkout. You must be at least 21 years old. You are responsible for handling, storing, and disposing of the materials safely, and for following all federal, state, and local laws that apply to you.

2. Who we sell to and how we review orders

We sell to research institutions and research businesses. We review the details you give us before an order ships. We may decline, limit, or cancel any order at our discretion, for example if we cannot confirm that a purchase is for research use or if we suspect misuse. If we decline or cancel an order, we refund the payment to the original payment method.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and are shown on each product page. We may change prices at any time, but the price you see at checkout is the price for your order. Payment is made at checkout by card through Square. If we find a pricing error, we may cancel the order and refund the payment.

4. Shipping

• We ship within the United States, including US territories and military (APO/FPO/DPO) addresses.
• Orders ship within 48 hours by UPS or USPS. We use the fastest shipping method available for your delivery address.
• Tracking is emailed on every order.
• Shipping is free on orders of $150 or more (item subtotal). Orders under $150 pay $14.95 shipping.
• Delivery times are set by the carrier. You are responsible for giving us a correct and complete shipping address.

5. Cancellations

An order can be cancelled only if you email info@prudentresearchlabs.com before the order ships. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

6. No returns, all sales final

We do not accept returns, and all sales are final. Please read our Refund Policy before you order.

7. Product information

Purity of greater than 98% is guaranteed by our supplier laboratory. A certificate of analysis is available upon request by email. Product descriptions are provided for research information only. They are not medical claims, and nothing on this site is advice about using any material in people or animals.

8. Disclaimers and limits on liability

Except for the purity statement in section 7, materials are sold "as is," and we make no other warranties, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent the law allows, Prudent Research is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any use of the materials other than laboratory research. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Ohio.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in effect when you place an order apply to that order.
